Red Shield has been very active with the Boxing Program kicking off the fall season with it's 1st Annual Show Down in MoTown. The Red Shield Boxing Club along with three local boxing clubs (Mixed Martial Art Cardio & Fitness Center, Ceres Karate and Raya-Do Gym) put on an AWESOME Boxing exhibition. Events featured local low rider car clubs and boxing talents of all ages from young 5 years old up to heavy weights in their late 30s. Over 225 attended local community event raising funds for the Boxing Club. Classes are available Monday through Friday at Red Shield contact Juan Barrera. Monthly fees $15 month for adults and $5.00 month for children.

The Ceres Rotary Club's continued support brought about the Thanksgiving Annual Community Dinner to the Red Shield hosting and feeding over 580 community members and families attended a delicious Turkey dinner in November.

After school tutoring is busy as ever with kids coming to do their homework Monday through Thursdays from 3 - 5pm. Kids earn Red Shield SAY dollars to spend monthly in the SAY (Salvation Army Youth) store at the Red Shield. Bring your child to a fun safe environment to get the help they need with homework. Computers available for on-line homework and projects.

Red Shield's new Fitness Class is off the hook! New fitness trainer Jessica Mazza has a morning Cardio/Boxing and Weight Training class Monday through Friday from 9am - 10am. Monthly fee is $15. Other class times available, if interested please call Jessica Mazza at 209-538-7111

Adult Basketball League forming now! For more information call our office. League nights Tuesday and Thursdays at 6pm starting January 2012.

Teichert Construction's Annual Community Christmas Dinner will be held at The Red Shield December 16th at 5:30pm.

The Salvation Army is looking for volunteer Bell Ringers to help ring the bell during the holiday season raising money for Stanislaus County. Please contact Maria at (209) 613-5506
